I'm Augusto Lopez — a Bay Area photographer who's spent the better part of two decades learning one thing: how to make a photograph feel like it actually belongs to the person in it.
No over-directed poses, no borrowed aesthetics. Just the patience to wait for the moment that's uniquely yours, and the experience to know when it's arrived.
I work with bodies, light, and the space between. My intimate portrait practice is rooted in trust — and in the belief that being truly seen is a radical act.
